On the 7^th of May, two female Japanese tourists were detained in

 Marib province in an individual and isolated incident. The two female Japanese tourists are:

-         Ms Mishima Keiko

-         Ms endo Shizuko

This event has been taking place during their journey return from those areas.

 In this respect, Tourism Crises Management Unit has responded immediately and efficiently which leaded to release the Japanease tourist. Ensuring the safety of the tourists was coordinated with all security agencies, concerned authorities and locals.

Ministry of Tourism affirmed that tourist groups and agencies are continuing to implement their programs throughout the governorates. In this regard, the Ministry and all concerned authorities ensure tourism safety and security and to facilitate all necessary needs to tourists in the country.
